I’m Dalziel Douglas
(Pronounced “DL”)
I am a holistic therapist helping people heal themselves and to alleviate stress & anxiety from their lives, without the use of medication. I teach people to take control over their autonomic nervous system using the breath. This has huge health benefits such as control over blood pressure and variable heart rate. Clients report more energy day to day and a felt sense of lightness and positivity. Using physical techniques, I teach how to emotionally self regulate and how to be present. I show how to raise vibrational frequency and manifest one's full potential. Someone who is interested in evolving and would like to be on a path of transformation will benefit enormously from this work. Techniques I teach include Conscious connected Breath work, Visualisations, Sound (including music, crystal bowls, chanting and drumming) and Bodywork to help clients release trapped emotions and trauma from the body. The processes and techniques I use are scientifically proven to reduce insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression and procrastination. I work with energy, teaching people how to physically and mentally let go of their heavy emotions. I use shadow work and inner child work to help bring emotions to the surface to be faced, released and healed.
I have been training for the last five years in transformational techniques of meditation, embodiment and breathing.
These include Vipassanna, Dzogdgen, Shamanism, Effortless Mindfulness, The Heart math technique, Tantra and Conscious Connected Breath Work. I am certified to coach and teach as a Breath work Facilitator by The Breath Masters Academy in Bali, a Tantric Embodiment Coach by Inner Camp in Spain, a meditation Teacher by The British School of Meditation and a Heartmath Coach by The Heart Math Institute. I am currently a student at GPS - The Global Paco School in Peru & Hawaii.
I offer an initial discovery call or consultation at no charge. After that, I operate one to one either at the clients home, on zoom or in a therapy space. I also curate one-off events at various venues.
A Breath Work session is typically 90 minutes but can last up to two hours beginning to end. A Tantric Embodiment session which can involve a wide variety of techniques depending on each individual case typically lasts an hour to 90 minutes. No matter the needs of the client, we work together to facilitate a tailored program of practices that best serve the healing of the individual. For the best results, a 6-week program is recommended to establish new behaviour patterns.
